Please be advised that your reservation request or catering order is not guaranteed until you have received confirmation from the University Catering or Nebraska Unions Reservations Office.
All room assignments are subject to change. Final room assignments are not made until forty-eight hours prior to the event. If advertising your event, please list the room location as “to be announced” or “room posted" so there is not confusion for guest attending the event.
If reserving space in the Nebraska East Union, all food and beverages must be ordered through University Catering. If reserving space in the Nebraska Union or Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, all food and beverages must be ordered through Chez Hay catering.
To View Space Availability:
Select Browse & Search then Check Availability at the top of the page to search for available space. Using the filter tools (located on far right) you can search by date and
To View Scheduled Events:
Select Browse & Search then Calendar of Events at the
top of the page to browse for a specific event using the filter tools (located
on far right). You can search by browsing date/building, event name, or
event type (such as concert, meeting or outdoor event).
To Schedule an Event:
You must have an EMS account before requesting a space for your
event. Once you have an EMS account, select My Account, Login and
follow the instructions provided on the pages by the Event Management System.
To Create an EMS account:
First time users must first request an EMS account. You
must be a representative of an UNL Department. Your request to be a user
will be pending until it is reviewed by the Reservations & Events
office. You will receive an email confirmation that your account has been
approved. To request a new account select My Account, Create an Account and complete user information. Be sure to use
your UNL email address.
